This year’s NFL Draft was hosted in Green Bay for the first time ever. The three-day event was held just outside Lambeau Field as a free event for anyone to attend. The Milwaukee Panthers host their final regular season game at the Panther Arena on Saturday welcoming the Detroit Mercy Titans. There is a lot on the line with this final matchup, as this final game determines the final seed for the upcoming Horizon League Basketball Championship.

UWM men’s basketball welcomed the Wright State Raiders back at home for their homecoming game after two games on the road. The Panthers won their first away game against IU Indy 84-80 but fell short against Cleveland State last week 60-77. The Milwaukee Panthers dropped their game against Purdue Fort Wayne in the last few minutes on Sunday at the Panther Arena. The Panthers hosted their first home game after having a successful last two road games against Wright State (95-79) and Northern Kentucky (79-59). Milwaukee closes out 2024 with win against IU Indy - UWM Post

The Panthers closed out 2024 at home at the Klotsche Center with a victory over IU-Indianapolis 88-81. Milwaukee had a late start in scoring but were able to secure the win and now stand 10-4 overall and 3-0 in the Horizon League. Their six-game home win streak to begin the year was extended to seven with the win.

The Panthers defeated Cleveland State 79-67 on Thursday in their Horizon League opener while improving to 5-0 at home. Milwaukee scored the final 10 points to seal the win.

UWM volleyball’s season came to a screeching halt as they were upset 3-1 against third-seeded Cleveland State in the Horizon League’s conference tournament.

Milwaukee finished their regular season with a 15-3 Horizon League record. They entered the conference semifinals, hosted by Wright State in Dayton, Ohio, ranked as second seed.

UW-Milwaukee volleyball completed a rare reverse sweep on Friday night against previously-undefeated Wright State at the Klotsche Center. The Panthers played a total of five sets to take over with an impressive comeback win.

They then dropped their Saturday contest with the Raiders by two points in the fifth set. The Raiders lead the Horizon League by one game at 8-1 compared to Milwaukee’s 7-2.

The Panthers fell short in the first two sets 25-20 and 25-22.

UW-Milwaukee volleyball fell short in their in-city rivalry matchup with Marquette on Tuesday at the Al McGuire Center, losing the contest in straight sets.

The Panthers dropped to 12-10 with the loss, and finished 5-8 in a difficult non-conference slate that included No. 5 Stanford, No. 8 Wisconsin and Iowa. Marquette received votes in the most recent AP NCAA Volleyball poll.
